ABOUT SHOOTING SPORTS
Rifle shooting originated in 15th and 16th century Europe and made its Olympic debut at the Athens 1896 Games. A sport of precision, focus and mental strength, it is now one of the most popular Olympic sports worldwide.
India has emerged as a premier shooting nation with world-class training facilities. In Kerala, the sport is flourishing under the guidance of the Kerala State Rifle Association through district-level development programs.
ABOUT DRAK
The District Rifle Association of Kollam (DRAK) is the sole official body for shooting sports in Kollam district under the direct affiliation of the Kerala State Rifle Association (KSRA).
DRAK is the official gateway for shooters to participate in State, Zonal and National Championships under the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI).
